Five-year-olds know Nerf, but “blasters” are their big brother’s game. They know cars though, and the opportunity for Nitro was to give kids a Nerf-powered way to play with them. At this age, they're looking for skills they can master — on their own — to set them apart from “little kids”.

And hey, since they are being creative, developing motor skills and (hopefully) not shooting each other in the face, parents are on board.
